The following is a list of quotes straight from the mouths of first grade students in my classroom as well as the classrooms of the teachers that I work with.
Someone once told me I needed to write "this stuff" down and I am taking their advice.
- "Mrs. V, When did the world turn colors?"
- Student: "I'm going to be a home wrecker when I grow up!"
Me: "And what sort of things will you do as a 'home wrecker'?"
Student: "oh, you know, fix stuff that's broken in homes."
Me: "We might would call that person a home WORKER honey."
